父母自主支持与初中生问题性移动社交网络使用的关系:自尊与生命意义感的链式中介作用

The Relationship between Parental Autonomy Support and Problematic Mobile Social Network Use in Junior High School Students: The Chain Mediating Effect of Self-Esteem and Sense of Life-Meaning

随着智能手机的普及,初中生使用手机已经成为了一种极其普遍的现象。然而大部分的初中生对智能手机的使用存在不合理的行为,主要表现为青少年长时间和高频率使用移动社交网络,对青少年的心理发展与行为塑造产生了消极影响,导致了负性情绪、学业不良、退缩和逃避行为等问题的发生。本研究采取整群方便抽样方式,从佛山市禅城区两所初中选取600名初中生进行问卷调查,结果发现:(1) 父母自主支持可以显著正向预测初中生的自尊、生命意义感寻求和生命意义感拥有;(2) 自尊和生命意义感拥有可以显著负向预测问题性社交网络使用,而生命意义感寻求可以正向预测问题性社交网站使用;(3) 自尊和生命意义感拥有在父母自主支持对问题性社交网站使用的负向影响中起完全中介作用,生命意义感寻求在父母自主支持对问题性社交网站使用的正向影响中起完全中介作用;(4) 自尊和生命意义感拥有在父母自主支持对问题性社交网站使用的影响中起链式中介作用。该结果揭示了父母的自主支持是解决初中生问题性移动社交网络使用的重要因素,可以为未来的研究提供思路。

With the popularity of smart phones, it has become an extremely common phenomenon for junior high school students to use mobile phones. However, most junior high school students have unreasonable behaviors in using smart phones, mainly manifested as teenagers’ long-term and frequent use of mobile social networks, which has a negative impact on teenagers’ psychological development and behavior modeling, resulting in negative emotions, poor academic performance, withdrawal and avoidance behavior. In this study, 600 middle school students from two middle schools in Chancheng District of Foshan City were selected by cluster convenient sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey. The results showed that: (1) parental autonomy support can significantly positively predict the self-esteem, life-meaning seeking and life-meaning owning of middle school students;(2) self-esteem and life-meaning owning can significantly negatively predict problematic social network use, while life-meaning seeking can positively predict problematic social network use;(3) self-esteem and life-meaning owning play a completely mediating role in the negative effects of parental autonomy support on the use of problematic social networking sites, and life-meaning seeking plays a completely mediating role in the positive effects of parental autonomy support on the use of problematic social networking sites;(4) self-esteem and life-meaning owning play a chain mediating role in the influence of parental self-support on the use of problematic social networking sites. The results reveal that parents’ autonomous support is an important factor in solving the problematic mobile social network use of junior high school students, and can provide ideas for future research.
