Chasing Opera Characters culture originated in the late Qing Dynasty, focusing on the audience’s fervent pursuit of famous opera performers;star-crossing culture has risen along with the development of modern media technology, centering on the adoration of fans for entertainment stars. As popular cultures, the emergence of stargazing and star-chasing are related to social productivity and social background, etc. Analyzing and comparing stargazing and star-chasing from the perspective of philosophy of mind and culture will help us to analyze the emotional support and expression of modern and contemporary people through this phenomenon, so as to get a glimpse of the society in the 20th century and the 21st century.
