This article provides an overview of rehabilitation strategies for learning disabilities, the causes of which involve various aspects of information processing, genetics and neuropsychology. A variety of rehabilitation strategies are explored, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, speech therapy, social skills training and family support, as well as the use of emerging technologies. The importance of individualised rehabilitation plans and multidisciplinary collaboration is emphasised to improve the quality of life and well-being of people with learning disabilities.
