当前,我国边防安全形势较为复杂,其中的各类安全威胁相互交织。维护我国边防安全,需要以总体国家安全观为指导,从5个方面维护边防安全:维护边防安全需要维护好边疆的经济安全,以新发展理念引领边疆经济高质量发展;维护边防安全需要维护好边疆的政治安全,坚持党对一切工作的领导,朝着实现全体人民共同富裕不断迈进;维护边防安全需要维护好边疆的军事安全,实现新时代的强军目标;维护边防安全需要维护好边疆的文化安全,弘扬社会主义核心价值观;维护边防安全需要维护好边疆的国际安全,坚持共同、综合、合作、可持续的新安全观。维护我国边防安全,需要抓住主要矛盾,统筹应对传统安全威胁与非传统安全威胁,并且根据实际情况,突出重点问题与主要战略方向问题,综合经济、政治、文化、外交、军事多个领域的措施。
