The Relationship between Finance and Economic Growth—Based on the City Level

金融发展与经济增长之间存在着密切联系,但是在不同的时间、空间、产业结构、传导机制等条件下,金融发展对经济增长可能呈现出不同的影响。明确两者的关系对于金融和经济的发展具有深刻的意义,因此本文主要立足于次国家层面,通过建立模型分析研究目前我国金融发展规模、金融发展效率、金融发展结构与经济增长之间的关系,通过分析发现目前我国各省金融发展规模和金融发展效率的增加对于经济发展有着较为显著的促进作用,并基于所得结果提出相应建议。

There is a close relationship between financial development and economic growth, but in different time, space, industrial structure, transmission mechanism and other conditions, financial development may show different effects on economic growth. Clarifying the relationship between the two is of profound significance to the development of finance and economy. Therefore, this paper, based on the sub-national level, analyzes and studies the relationship between the scale of financial development, the efficiency of financial development, the structure of financial development and economic growth in China by establishing a model. Through the analysis, it is found that the increase of financial development scale and financial development efficiency in China’s provinces has a significant promoting effect on economic development, and the corresponding suggestions are put forward based on the results.
