The individualized teaching method that the teacher demonstrates over a long period of time is known as the teaching style. This means that in the process of teaching, teachers will gradually shape a set of personalized teaching concepts, methods and skills. This style of teaching is not only a comprehensive reflection of the teacher’s personality traits in the classroom, but also a symbol of the teacher’s level of maturity in the field of teaching. At the same time, students’ self-efficacy relates to the confidence and belief of individuals in whether they can successfully achieve the predetermined goals when they engage in learning activities. In teaching practice, the teacher’s teaching style has a significant impact on students’ self-efficacy. In order to implement the requirements of the new English curriculum standards, realize the all-round development of students, and carry out quality education, it is necessary to study the relationship between teachers’ teaching styles and students’ sense of efficacy, hoping to help front-line educators achieve better development and progress in English teaching, and also promote the all-round development of students.
