摘要
大学英语课程教学涵盖了听、说、读、写、译等方面,旨在培养非英语专业学生的英语综合运用能力。在课程教学中,具备一定的长难句解析能力及长难句翻译能力,也是大学英语课程教学大纲的要求。而长难句是大学英语教学部分中的重点,也是长期困扰学生的一大知识难点。如何理解分析大学英语课文中的长难句,并仿照其结构,以提升学生的翻译能力,是大学英语课程中的重要教学环节。本文结合时事热点词汇以及应试考试,以探索出符合当前大学英语发展趋势的长难句仿写教学法和教学设计,从而提升大学英语整体教学质量。
College English integrated course covers listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating, etc, aiming to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability of English using. It complies with the requirement set by college English course syllabus that students need to acquire the ability to analyze complex sentence structures and complete its relevant translating practice. Complex sentence structures play a crucial role in college English course teaching modes, which poses a great challenge for students. It is of vital importance for the comprehension of these sentences structures in the text and the practice of its imitative sentence translation so as to improve the translating abilities of students. This paper discusses and explores the imitative translating teaching modes that apply to the current college English course development through the combination of real-time buzz words and text-oriented exams, thus improving the overall teaching quality of this course.
