基于生成式人工智能赋能高等外语教育的思考

摘要 高等教育中的外语教育,赋予学生语言技能与跨文化交流能力,与此同时,教育专注学生道德品质、社会化技能等多种素养的养成。生成式人工智能作为新生的技术,赋能外语教育的同时,需关注其可能带来的弊端。扬其利避其弊,双轨铺开,借助技术提升外语教学效能和效率,设定制度和技术使用规范,助力其开展道德教育、价值引领、品德塑造等目标达成,完成高等教育应有之义。 Foreign language education gives students language skills and intercultural communication ability. Higher education, however, focuses on the cultivation of students’ moral quality, social skills, and other qualities. As a new technology, generative artificial intelligence should be paid attention to its possible disadvantages while enabling foreign language education. In adoption of new technology, we should promote its advantages and avoid its disadvantages. On the one hand, effectiveness and efficiency of foreign language teaching could be greatly improved with the help of technology, on the other hand, ethical values and norm should be set to regulate the use of technology. Besides knowledge and skills, moral education, value guidance, character shaping and other goals are to be achieved in the essence of higher education.
