《琵琶记》是由元代戏曲家高则诚所创的南戏,这个戏曲是根据宋元时期民间流行的蔡伯喈故事为原型、《赵贞女蔡二郎》为基础再创作而成。《琵琶记》中的蔡伯喈生动立体,他是典型的儒生形象,在父母与功名面前,他选择了照顾父母实现他的“孝”义,在上层的权力压迫下,他选择背信弃义迎娶丞相之女,生存环境的转变也体现出了蔡伯喈从“经”义向“吏”义的转变。
“The Lute” is a Southern opera created by Gao Zecheng, a dramatist in the Yuan Dynasty. This opera is based on the popular Cai Bojie story in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, based on “Zhao Zhen’s daughter and Cai Erlang”. Cai Bojie in “The Lute” is vivid and three-dimensional. He is a typical Confucian image. In the face of his parents and fame, he chose to take care of his parents to realize his “filial piety”. Un-der the oppression of the upper power, he chose to betray his faith and marry the daughter of the prime minister. The change of the living environment also reflects Cai Bojie’s transformation from the meaning of “classics” to the meaning of “officials”.
