Research Progress on Metformin Combined with Other Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Preparations in the Treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

多囊卵巢综合征女性常见的生殖内分泌及代谢异常疾病,对患者的生育能力和生活质量造成了严重的影响。本文综合了近年来二甲双胍与中药联合治疗PCOS的疗效:二甲双胍作为一种胰岛素增敏剂,可以有效地减轻PCOS患者的胰岛素抵抗,并且能够降低他们的血糖和胰岛素水平。同时,中药通过补肾健脾、化痰祛湿等原则,整体调理患者的内分泌和代谢状态,有助于改善高雄激素血症和排卵障碍等症状。二甲双胍与中药联合使用,能够发挥协同作用,进一步提高治疗效果,为PCOS患者提供了一种新的治疗选择。未来的研究应进一步深入探讨其作用机制,优化联合治疗方案,并加强个体化治疗的研究和实践,以更好地满足PCOS患者的治疗需求。Reproductive endocrine and metabolic abnormalities are common in women with polycystic ovary syndrome, which have a serious impact on the patient’s fertility and quality of life. This article summarizes the efficacy of metformin and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of PCOS in recent years: metformin, as an insulin sensitizer, can effectively reduce insulin resistance in patients with PCOS and reduce their blood sugar and insulin levels. At the same time, traditional Chinese medicine regulates the patient’s endocrine and metabolic status as a whole through the principles of invigorating the kidney and strengthening the spleen, resolving phlegm and eliminating dampness, and helps improve symptoms such as hyperandrogenemia and ovulation disorders. The combination of metformin and traditional Chinese medicine can exert a synergistic effect, further improve the treatment effect, and provide a new treatment option for patients with PCOS. Future research should further explore its mechanism of action, optimize combination treatment options, and strengthen the research and practice of individualized treatment to better meet the treatment needs of patients with PCOS.
