目的:乳腺癌(BC)是女最常见的恶性肿瘤。胸腺素β 15A (TMSB15A)在多个癌症中起重要作用。本研究旨在分析TMSB15A mRNA表达在BC中的表达和预后价值。方法:我们利用癌症基因组图谱(TCGA)数据库和基因型组织表达(GTEx)数据分析TMSB15A mRNA的表达。Kaplan-Meier分析用于确定TMSB15A mRNA表达在BC中的预后价值。利用TCGA数据进行基因集富集分析(GSEA)。结果:我们的结果显示TMSB15A mRNA在BC组织中的表达显著高于正常组织。TMSB15A高表达与BC的分子分型中的3个主要分子检测指标(ER, PR, HER2)有关,并且在Basal (三阴性)亚型中表达量最高。GSEA分析表明TMSB15A高表达患者中主要富集在细胞周期,DNA复制,p53通路和多个代谢通路等肿瘤增殖相关通路。结论:总之,我们的结果表明TMSB15A是一种有前途的BC预后生物标志物。
Objective: Breast Cancer (BC) is the most common malignant tumor in women. Thymosin β 15A (TMSB15A) mRNA plays an important role in many cancers. This study aims to analyze the expres-sion and prognostic value of TMSB15A mRNA in BC. Methods: We explored the expression of TMSB15A mRNA through the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) database. Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to determine the prognostic value of TMSB15A mRNA expression in BC. Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) was performed by TCGA data. Results: Our results showed that the expression of TMSB15A mRNA in BC tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues. The high expression of TMSB15A is related to the three main molecular detection indicators (ER, PR, HER2) in the molecular subtype of BC, and the expression level was the highest in the Basal (Triple Negative) subtype. GSEA analysis showed that patients with high expression of TMSB15A were mainly enriched in tumor proliferation-related pathways such as cell cycle, DNA replication, 5p3 pathway and multiple metabolic pathways. Conclusion: In summary, our results indicated that TMSB15A was a promising prognostic biomarker for BC.
