As the sixth generation of Chinesedirectors, Jia Zhangke’s films are mainly realistic, combining the changes ofThe Times and the fate of the characters. Jia Zhangke is also good at usingcolor to express his films. In “Ash Is Purest White”, Jia zhangke integrates color elements on thebasis of paragraph narration, and gives full play to the role of each color,bringing a different color experience to the audience.
