In the early discovery, dystopia is not only built by authoritarian oppression, it can be built by every individual in society. This paper aims to analyze how to construct dystopia through equal power relations in the episode “Hated in the Nation” in Black Mirror. As the main causes of dystopia in “Hated in the Nation” are technology and social media, data are collected by arranging some frames and dialogues in the whole episode, so people find that the vicious circle of Internet violence is difficult to break, so it leads to the deterioration of society. This analysis is expected to contribute to other elements of the postmodern dystopian narrative.
