In order to meet the needs of the mother and fetus, the blood lipid level will undergo physiological changes during pregnancy, resulting in a physiological hyperlipidemia state. However, in recent years, studies have found that maternal lipid metabolism disorders during pregnancy are potential risk factors for many adverse pregnancy outcomes, threatening maternal and infant outcomes. Therefore, if the potential link between dyslipid metabolism and adverse pregnancy outcomes can be discovered, early intervention and timely regulation of lipid metabolism disorders will improve maternal and infant outcomes and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
