A Syntactic Semantic Study and Formalization of Vietnamese Giving Verbs

句法和语义是语言研究中极为重要的两个层面。语义结构是动词和论元之间的结构关系;句法结构是句子成分之间的结构关系。该文基于语料库对现代越南语的两个给予类动词c?p和cung c?p的句法语义结构进行了研究。分析了其在实际语料中各自呈现出的句法语义结构,对其论元所能承担的句法成分进行了归纳。发现除给予类动词的典型句法语义结构外,还以八种不同的句法语义结构出现。该文还对不同句法语义结构进行了形式描写。

Syntax and semantics are two important aspects of language research. The semantic structure is the structural relation between the verb and the argument. The syntactic structure is the struc-tural relation between the sentences. Based on the corpus, this paper studies the syntactic-se- mantic structure of two giving verbs such as “c?p” and “cung c?p” in modern Vietnamese. We analyze the syntactic-semantic structures presented in the real corpus and summarize the syntactic components that arguments could bear. In addition to the typical syntactic-semantic structure, it also appears in eight different syntactic-semantic structures. This paper also provides a formalarized description of the different syntactic-semantic structures.
