英汉双语学习词典对应词翻译策略研究

摘要 在双语词典词目词翻译过程中,由于中英两个民族对范畴的认知方式、概括层次、社会背景等文化方面的差异、源语词目与目的语对应词之间有限的语义与范畴对应关系以及译者理解上的偏差,造成双语词典词目词翻译过程中出现误译、漏译、生造词和上下义词混用等情况。为使词目词的翻译更为准确和贴切,在以后的词典翻译实践中应从寻找和识别源语原型着手,经过概念的整合和匹配过程,最终才能得到合适的对应词。 In the process of translation of lemmas in bilingual dictionaries, due to the cultural differences between the Chinese and English nations in terms of cognition, generalization level, and social background, there is a limited semantic and category correspondence between the source lan-guage lemmas and the target language equivalents, as well as the translator’s misunderstanding, mistranslations, omissions, concocted words, and mixed use of superordinates and hyponyms occur in the translation of bilingual dictionaries. In order to make the translation of headwords more accurate and appropriate, in the future dictionary translation practice, we should start with finding and identifying the source language prototype, and after the process of conceptual integration and matching, we can finally get the appropriate equivalents.
