视觉语法视角下的电影海报的多模态话语分析——以电影海报《八佰》为例

Multimodal Discourse Analysis of Movie Posters from the Perspective of Visual Grammar—Taking the Movie Poster “Eight Hundred” as an Example

本文以Kress &Van Leuween的视觉语法理论为研究框架,旨在探究电影海报宣传片《八佰》所折射的再现意义、互动意义以及构图意义。本文主要采用文献研究法,进行静态语篇中电影海报《八佰》的多模态话语分析。结果表明,从再现意义的角度来看,电影海报《八佰》多采用以行为和反应过程的叙事设计为主;从互动意义的角度来看,该海报多采用提供型信息、近景加中景相结合的低角度垂直拍摄的手法;在色彩度上多以中情态的色彩为主。从组图意义的角度看,该海报多采用中心–边缘型的设计框架,重点突出海报的背景信息。笔者希望从多模态话语的角度深刻解读战争题材类电影海报的内容,从而为后来的学者提供借鉴意义。

Using Kress &Van Leuween’s visual grammar theory as a framework, this paper aims to investi-gate the representational, interactive and compositional meanings reflected in the film poster “Eight Hundred”. This paper focuses on the multimodal discourse analysis of the movie poster “Eight Hundred” in static discourse by using the literature research method. The results show that from the perspective of the representational meaning, the movie poster “Eight Hundred” mostly adopts the narrative design of behavioral and reactional process;from the perspective of the interactive meaning, the poster mostly uses the technique of providing typical information and low angle vertical shooting combined with close and medium view;it mostly adopts the medium mood color in color saturation. From the perspective of compositional meaning, the poster mostly adopts the center-margin design framework, focusing on the background information of the poster. The author hopes to deeply interpret the content of war-themed movie posters from the perspective of multimodal discourse, so as to provide meaningful references for later scholars.
