Through the analysis of the Three Kingdoms by Yoshikawa Eiji, this paper explores the process of the spread and acceptance of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in Japan, focuses on the changes and innovation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in Japan since modern times, and analyzes the inheritance and change of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in Japan. From the perspective of the text, it re-examines how the Romance of the Three Kingdoms has further expanded its influence in Japan since modern times. In the face of today’s complex international situation, how the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a cross-border and cross-cultural work, has spread and been widely accepted by the public is worthy of our reference and reflection.
