跨文化交际语境下旅游公示语汉英翻译策略研究

摘要 全球化使不同国家的人们之间的交往日益频繁,中英语境文化的不同常会引发许多跨文化交际问题。语境的高低差异,使得英汉两种语言在表意时对语境的依赖程度不尽相同。因此,译者在做汉英翻译时,也会因为受到语境的影响在翻译过程中遇到诸多困难,进而导致译文无法传递有效信息。本文旨在以旅游公示语为例,主要从汉语所属的高语境文化和英语所属的低语境文化对比着手,借助错误分析的手法,通过具体的翻译实践案例让读者更加真切地了解到高低语境文化的特点和差异,对汉英翻译策略进行研究和分析,提高对文化差异的敏感度,更好地进行跨文化交流。 Globalization has led to increasingly frequent interaction between people from different countries, and the cultural differences between Chinese and English contexts usually give rise to many intercultural communication issues. The difference in the level of context makes the two languages rely on it differently in their expressions. Therefore, translators may encounter a lot of difficulties in the translation process due to the influence of the context, which may lead to the translation failing to convey effective information. Through this paper, we take tourism public announcements as an example, mainly from the comparison of the high context culture of Chinese and the low context culture of English to study and analyse the translation strategies of Chinese-English, improving the sensitivity to cultural differences for better cross-cultural communication.
