摘要
语言景观具有信息和象征功能,对旅游目的地信息传递和文化传播有重要作用。由于国内外交流增加和疫情后旅游业的复苏,旅游文化传播力度加大,旅游文本翻译的地位凸显。变译理论突出外部语境、强调以读者为中心,可以较好地处理旅游翻译中的语言矛盾、文化矛盾、需求矛盾,多用来指导旅游翻译,但其在指导语言景观翻译方面取得的研究成果较少。基于此,本文以承德避暑山庄语言景观为研究对象,选取相关案例进行分析,探讨变译理论指导下避暑山庄语言景观英文翻译的相关方法和手段,为变译理论的实践研究提供相关经验。
Linguistic landscape, with its informative function and symbolic function, plays an essential role in the information transmission and cultural communication in tourist destinations. With increasing domestic and international exchanges and the recovery of tourism after the Covid-19 epidemic, the dissemination of tourism culture has intensified, thus enhanced the importance of tourism translation. Translation variation theory which highlights the external context and puts the reader at the center, can deal with the linguistic contradiction, cultural contradiction, and demand contradiction in tourism translation. However, there are a few studies on linguistic landscape translation guided by translation variation. This paper, taking the linguistic landscape of the Chengde Mountain Resort as an object, selected some cases to analyze and discussed the methods and means of English translation of the linguistic landscapes of the Chengde Mountain Resort under the guidance of translation variation, in order to provide some experience for practical research of translation variation.
