摘要
作为视听翻译的重要组成部分,字幕翻译涉及到多种语言符号和非语言符号的转换与互相作用,呈现出明显的多模态特征。本文以多模态话语分析综合理论为分析框架,对电影《彗星美人》的字幕翻译进行评析,发现译文存在语篇连贯性不足、多模态符号之间的相互作用仍有欠缺等问题。本研究旨在从多模态视角出发,将视觉符号与听觉符号融入翻译过程中,对字幕翻译进行更加全面的研究,以期为今后的外语影片译制工作提供借鉴。
As an essential part of audiovisual translation, subtitle translation involves the transformation and interaction of various verbal and nonverbal semiotics, which shows obvious multimodal characteristics. Based on the multimodal analytical framework, this paper studies the subtitle translation of the film All about Eve and finds incoherence and insufficient interactions between multimodal semiotics in some translations. From a multimodal perspective, this study aims to integrate visual and auditory semiotics into the translation process for a more comprehensive study of subtitle translation, with a view to providing references for future translations of foreign films.
