摘要
苏轼的《水调歌头•明月几时有》,被古人誉为中秋词中的第一词,奈达认为“翻译是用最恰当、自然和对等的语言从语义到文体再现源语的信息。”换言之,就是要实现翻译与原文的功能对等。基于尤金•奈达功能对等理论,本文将对译者王怀祖、陈国坚和毕隐崖对苏轼《水调歌头》的翻译进行对比,并从词汇、语意、形式和文体四个方面分析功能对等原则在三个译本中的应用。
Su Shi’s Shui Diao Ge Tou, which was regarded by the ancients as the first of the mid-autumn words, is considered by Naida as “translation is the reproduction of the message of the source language from semantics to stylistics in the most appropriate, natural and reciprocal language.” In other words, it is to realize the functional equivalence between the translation and the original language. Based on Eugene Naida’s theory of functional equivalence, this paper will compare the translations of Su Shi’s Shui Diao Ge Tou by the translators Wang Huaizu, Chen Guojian, and Bi Yinya, and analyze the application of the principle of functional equivalence in the three translations from four aspects: vocabulary, semantics, form, and style.
