目的论视角下中国电影字幕英译的应用——以《你好,李焕英》为例

摘要 在全球各方文化不断交融荟萃、不断深入的背景下,电影作为其重要组成部分,使得字幕翻译在整个翻译领域占据重要地位。原语字幕承载原语所指文化,其翻译连接原语与目的语受众。本文通过展示《你好,李焕英》这一兼具时代背景与地域特色的电影的字幕英译实例,进而探索如何以翻译目的论为指导,探索此类电影字幕英译的相关事宜:即如何实现两种不同语言背后所属文化内核在非母语者与母语受众间的对等传递。 Nowadays, in the context of continuous integration of various cultures and deepening of cross-cultural communication, film, as an important part of it, is helping subtitle translation to oc-cupy a more important position in the realm of translation. Source subtitle carries the culture of the source language and its translation connects the source language audience with the target language audience. In this paper, by showing the example of the English translation of the film Hi, Mom, which has both historical background and regional characteristics, we can explore how to translate the subtitles of this kind of films under the guidance of Skopos theory, and how to achieve equal trans-mission of the cultural core behind two different languages between non-native speakers and native speakers.
