Su Shi was a famous poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, and many translators have translated his poetries into English. Using the “three-dimensional transformation” of ecological translation theory as the perspective, this paper takes the ecological image of Su Shi’s poetry “rain” as the theme to explore the differences in translation versions of various translators under different cultural and historical backgrounds. Research has found that translators tend to moderately recreate the trans-lated text due to their adaptability to different choices during the translation process. Translators should cultivate ecological awareness, pay attention to cultural accumulation, and strive to accu-rately convey the ecological meanings of the original work through appropriate translation meth-ods.
