For thousands of years, economic exchanges between China and Japan have been continuous. With the deepening of globalization and the construction of a shared human destiny, economic interactions between the two countries have become more extensive and in-depth. Economic translation, which differs from literary and scientific translation, plays a pivotal role in these activities. This paper discusses the translation of long sentences in economic texts from Japanese to Chinese, exploring the common types of long sentences, challenges, and proposing translation strategies tailored to the economic field.
