摘要
文化自信是国家软实力的重要组成部分,它反映了一个国家对本民族文化的自信心和自豪感,是国家综合实力的体现。文化自信作为一个国家、民族在全球化语境下坚守自身文化特色、积极参与世界文化对话的重要基础,对于翻译策略的选择具有深远影响,同时恰当、灵活运用“归化”和“异化”的翻译策略推动中国文化“走出去”,也可进一步提升本国的文化自信。本文从文化自信的角度出发,深入探讨了“归化”与“异化”两种翻译策略在跨文化交流中的应用及其影响。且通过对大量翻译实践案例的分析,探讨和总结了应用归化与异化翻译策略的情境特点。
Cultural confidence is an important component of a country’s soft power, reflecting a country’s self-confidence and pride in its own culture and embodying the country’s comprehensive strength. As an important foundation for a nation to adhere to their own cultural characteristics and actively participate in global cultural dialogue in the context of globalization, cultural confidence has a profound impact on the choice of translation strategies. Meanwhile, appropriately and flexibly using the translation strategies of “domestication” and “foreignization” to transmit Chinese culture broadly can further enhance the country’s cultural confidence. From the perspective of cultural confidence, this article delves into the application and influence of the two translation strategies of “domestication” and “foreignization” in cross-cultural communication. Through the analysis of a large number of translation practice cases, it explores and summarizes the contextual characteristics of applying domestication and foreignization translation strategies.
