Under the framework of Skopos Theory, this paper makes an in-depth study of Chinese-English subtitle translation. By combing the core concepts of Skopos Theory and combining with the actual cases of Chinese-English subtitle translation, this paper analyzes the application and value of Skopos Theory in Chinese-English subtitle translation. This paper aims to reveal the importance and practical significance of Skopos Theory in Chinese-English subtitle translation, in order to provide new perspectives and ideas for subtitle translation practice.
