多模态话语分析视角下国产动画字幕翻译研究——以《中国唱诗班》为例

摘要 动画作为影视的主力军之一,在中华文化传播过程中至关重要。近年来“国漫”的崛起也让中华优秀传统文化在海外声名鹊起。如何利用“国漫”传播好中华文化,如何让海外观众准确理解中华文化,动画字幕翻译是重中之重。本文以《中国唱诗班》系列动画短片为例,使用多模态认知话语分析对其字幕翻译进行解读,发现其利用语言、文化以及语境等多种符号结合,传达出丰富且有内涵的中国诗歌文化形象,弘扬了孝顺感恩,不怕挫折,爱国等中华传统美德。在此基础上,笔者还对《中国唱诗班》一片字幕翻译提出了三方面建议。本研究旨在通过该动画短片以小见大,探究如何利用多种模态来提高国产动画字幕翻译的质量,更好地讲好中国文化。 As one of the main forces of film and television, animation is crucial in the process of spreading Chinese culture, and the rise of “national comics” has made the excellent traditional culture famous overseas. How to utilize “national comics” to spread Chinese culture and how to make overseas audience understand Chinese culture, subtitle translation is the most important thing. In this paper, we take the Chinese Poem Choir animated short film series as an example, and use multimodal cognitive discourse analysis to interpret its subtitle translation, and find that it utilizes the combination of language, culture, context and other symbols to convey a rich and connotative image of Chinese poetry and culture, and promotes the traditional Chinese virtues of filial piety and gratitude, not being afraid of setbacks, and patriotism. On this basis, the author also puts forward three suggestions for the subtitle translation of Chinese Poem Choir. The purpose of this study is to explore how to improve the quality of subtitle translation of Chinese animation by utilizing various modes to better tell Chinese culture through this animated short film.
