Due to the differences between different languages and the cultural differences between regions, the international dissemination of literary works often encounters many difficulties. Especially for poetry, the mastery of translation skills by different translators will directly affect the reader’s reading experience. Under the theoretical guidance of comparative linguistics, this article takes Pablo Neruda’s “Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Desperation” as an example. By analyzing the translations of different translators, this article explores how Spanish poetry is more in line with the characteristics of Chinese context in the translation process, so as to eliminate the reader’s brought by different languages and regions to the greatest extent. The difficulties in understanding help readers further improve their reading experience and promote the international dissemination of excellent works.
