摘要 《芭比》是2023年7月上映的爆款美国电影,具有丰富的符号学价值、浓厚的女性主义色彩和意识形态领域的先锋性。电影符号学致力于探索电影中类似语言的符号系统,不仅关注电影的形式美和叙事技巧,还关注形式背后意义与价值观念的传达。本文运用电影符号学对电影《芭比》进行剖析,从角色符号、语言符号、视觉叙事三个方面,阐述这些符号如何通过“能指”体现“所指”的内涵,从中揭示当下的社会现实和矛盾,以最终实现良好的传播效果。将符号学理论分析应用于电影分析,这一尝试对于电影艺术的赏析和创作,乃至人文学科的跨学科发展都有一定的意义。As a popular American film released in July 2023, Barbie is successful in semiotic value, feminist significance and a pioneering model in the field of ideology. Film semiotics is dedicated to exploring the symbolic system similar to language in films, focusing not only on the formal beauty and narrative techniques of films, but also on the transmission of connotation and values behind the form. This paper analyzes the film Barbie with the film semiotics from three aspects of character symbols, language symbols and visual narrative, explaining how these symbols reflect the connotation of “signified” through “signifier”, demonstrate the current social reality and contradictions, and finally achieve a good communication effect. The application of semiotic theory analysis to film analysis has certain significance for the appreciation and creation of film art, as well as the interdisciplinary development of humanities.
