The precision of title and abstract translation significantly impacts the industry’s retrieval and dissemination. This paper takes a domestic core journal of coal science as the material to discuss the problems existing in the translation of such title and abstract and the post-translation editing. The ultimate aim is to provide valuable references for the translation of titles and abstract of academic papers in mineral science and technology.
