公共事务参与与流动老人流入地认同的关系

The Relationship between Public Affairs Participation and Elderly Migrants’ Identity towards Inflowing Areas

目的:考察流动老人的流入地认同现状以及公共事务参与和流动老人流入地认同的关系,为鼓励我国流动老人积极参与公共事务,提升流动老人流入地认同提供理论依据。方法:利用2017年全国流动人口动态监测调查数据,通过多元线性回归模型,分析了公共事务参与和流动老人流入地认同的关系(N = 5645)。结果:流动老人总体上的公共事务参与度较低(M = 4.519, SD = 1.173),流入地认同相对较高(M = 25.780, SD = 3.423);除文化认同维度外,公共事务参与对流动老人流入地认同的各维度均有正向预测作用(β = 0.03~0.07, P 【0.05),其中公共事务参与对流动老人城市认同的预测作用最为突出(β = 0.07, P 【0.01);流动老人的个人特征、家庭特征以及社区特征均与流入地认同显著相关。在控制了样本的个人特征、家庭特征以及社区特征后,公共事务参与依然显著预测流动老人流入地认同。

Objective: This paper investigates the elderly migrants’ identity towards inflowing areas, and its relationship with public affairs participation, so as to provide some theoretical reference for promoting the public affairs participation of the elderly migrants and enhancing their identity of inflowing areas. Methods: Using the national data of China Migrants Dynamic Survey published by the National Health Commission in 2017, through constructing multiple linear regression model, this paper analyzes the impact of public affairs participation on elderly migrants’ identity towards inflowing areas (n = 5645). Results: The public affairs participation of elderly migrants was low (M = 4.519, SD = 1.173), and their identity towards inflowing areas was relatively high (M = 25.780, SD = 3.423);except for the dimension of cultural identity, public affairs participation had a positive predictive effect on other dimensions of identity (β = 0.03 - 0.07, all P <0.05), among which public affairs participation acted as a most important predictor in improving urban identity of elderly migrants (β = 0.07, P <0.01). The personal characteristics, family characteristics and community characteristics of elderly migrants will significantly be correlated with the sample’s identity towards inflowing areas. After controlling the sample’s personal characteristics, family char-acteristics and community characteristics, public affairs participation still significantly predicted the elderly migrants’ identity towards inflowing areas.
