Legal Dilemma and Countermeasures of Villagers’ Autonomy

村民自治作为乡村治理体系的核心内容,是我国民主政治制度的重要组成部分。随着当前农村社会的变化发展,村民自治在发展过程中仍存在诸多问题。针对当前存在的村民自治制度不完善、村两委权力界限模糊、缺乏有效监督机制等问题,笔者认为可以通过加强农村法治建设、明确细化两委职责、优化村民自治监督制度等进一步发展完善村民自治制度,进而提升村民自治效果。

As the core content of rural governance system, villager autonomy is an important part of China’s democratic political system. With the development of rural society, there are still many problems in the development of villagers’ autonomy. In view of the current problems such as the imperfect system of villagers’ self-government, the vague boundary between the rights of village committees and the lack of effective supervision mechanism, the author believes that the system of villagers’ self-government can be further developed and improved by strengthening the construction of rural rule of law, clarifying the responsibilities of the two committees and optimizing the supervision system of villagers’ self-government, so as to enhance the effect of villagers’ self-government.
