社会支持对老年人生活满意度的影响——精神健康的中介作用

The Effect of Social Support on Life Satisfaction of the Elderly—The Mediating Role of Mental Health

目的:老年人生活满意度的影响因素。方法:基于CLHLS2018数据,采取相关性分析和process中介检验。结果:养老保险支持、社区养老服务以及子女的非正式支持均能显著提升老年人生活满意度。引入中介变量后,除子女经济支持外,上述因素均能通过影响老年人精神健康来影响其生活满意度,精神健康发挥部分中介作用。结论:社会支持和老年人乐观的心理状态能够对老年人的生活满意度产生影响,但子女的经济支持对老年人的精神健康状态并无显著影响。

Objective: Factors influencing life satisfaction of the elderly. Methods: Based on CLHLS2018 data, correlation analysis and process mediation test were taken. Results: Old-age insurance support, community elderly services, and informal support from children can significantly enhance the life satisfaction of older adults. After the introduction of mediating variables, all of the above factors, except for children’s financial support, could affect the life satisfaction of older adults through influencing their mental health, and mental health played a partially mediating role. Conclusion: Social support and older adults’ optimistic psychological state can influence older adults' life satisfaction, but children’s financial support does not have a significant effect on older adults’ mental health state.
