摘要
企业吸收能力是优化管理和增强绩效的关键所在。本文基于2012~2022年我国A股上市公司的面板数据,采用双向固定效应模型,实证检验人工智能对企业吸收能力的效应和机理。研究发现:1) 人工智能显著促进企业吸收能力,在更换变量衡量方式、改变样本容量后依旧稳健;2) 异质性分析结果显示,人工智能只对东部地区企业吸收能力有显著正向影响,而对中西部地区无明显改善;3) 进一步机制检验结果表明,人工智能主要通过推广高新技术应用和降低信息滞后两个渠道助力企业吸收能力提升。Enterprises absorptive capacity is crucial for optimizing management and enhancing performance. This paper is based on panel data of A-share listed companies in China from 2012 to 2022, employing a two-way fixed effects model to empirically test the effects and mechanisms of artificial intelligence on enterprise absorption capacity. The results show as follows: 1) Artificial intelligence significantly promotes enterprise absorptive capacity, and the results remain robust after altering the measurement of variables and modifying sample sizes;2) Heterogeneity analysis shows that the positive impact of artificial intelligence on the absorption capacity of enterprises in the eastern region is more pronounced compared to that of the central and western regions;3) Mechanism test results further indicate that artificial intelligence mainly promotes enterprise absorptive capacity through two channels: promoting high-tech application and reducing information stickiness.
