逆卡诺循环是与卡诺循环性质不同的另一类循环。逆卡诺循环是理想的泵热机,有三种泵热方式:热泵、冷泵和冷泵–热泵联供。卡诺泵热循环的热效率与循环工质密切相关。卡诺泵热机的热效率会大于1,是因气体的温度效应在逆卡诺循环里二次建立温差,而造成大量热量的输入和输出。
