Progress in Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation with Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

腰椎间盘突出症(Lumbar Disc Herniation, LDH)是一种常见的骨科疾病,其病因多种多样,根本原因是椎间盘发生退变。LDH临床表现为腰痛、坐骨神经痛、马尾神经痛,严重者影响患者的日常工作与生活,若未得到及时有效治疗则可能会丧失机体功能,甚至残疾。大部分患者经治疗后症状可得到明显改善。本文对LDH的治疗方式作一综述,以期为LDH患者治疗方式的选择提供依据。

Lumbar Disc Herniation (LDH) is a common orthopedic disease. It has a variety of causes. The primary cause is intervertebral Disc degeneration. The clinical manifestations of LDH are low back pain, sciatica and cauda equina neuralgia, which affect the daily work and life of patients in severe cases. If not treated in a timely and effective manner, patients may lose body function or even disability. The symptoms of most patients can be significantly improved after treatment. This article reviews the treatment methods of LDH, in order to provide a basis for the choice of treatment methods for LDH patients.
