Zhang Xichun’s Medicinal Characteristics in the Treatment of Diabetes

张锡纯是明末清初著名的中医学家,所著《医学衷中参西录》中“治消渴方”一节系统地阐述了其治疗消渴的思想、用药经验及临证医案,本文结合其对消渴病的病因病机的认识,探讨其治疗消渴病的用药特色,为临床中治疗消渴病提供参考。

Zhang Xichun was a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in the late Ming and early Qing dynas-ties, and his ideas, experience in the use of medicine and clinical cases for the treatment of di-abetes are systematically described in his book “Intergrating Chinese and Western Medicine”. This article discusses the characteristics of his medication for the treatment of achalasia in the context of his understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of diabetes, and provides a reference for the treatment of achalasia in clinical practice.
