摘要
在当今文化多元化和信息化的新时代,高等学校呼唤真正的人文精神,更呼唤人文素质教育。人文素质教育既是提高教育质量的有效手段,又是检验教育质量的重要标准,加强人文素质教育是时代的要求,也是高校必须担负的历史使命。英语教学兼有工具性与人文性的特点,通过英语教学提高学生的人文素养,是时代发展的需要,是英语学科发展的必要,是回归英语教育原点的需要。本文针对英语教学中人文素质教育培养进行探究,阐述了人文素质教育相关理论与英语教学的关系、英语教学中人文素质教育的实施及学生人文素质的培养等。
In today’s new era of cultural diversification and informatization, colleges and universities call for real humanistic spirit, and even more for humanistic quality education. Humanistic quality education is not only an effective means to improve the quality of education, but also an important standard for testing the quality of education. Strengthening humanistic quality education is the requirement of the times, and also a historical mission for universities. English teaching has both instrumental and humanistic features. Improving students’ humanity through English teaching is the need of the development of the times, of the English subject itself, and of returning to the initial point of English education. This article explores the cultivation of humanistic quality education in English teaching and expounds the relationship between them and how to implement humanistic quality education in English teaching to cultivate students’ humanistic quality.
