Point set topology is a basic course for the undergraduate students majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics in normal universities. This paper discusses how to find the ideological and political elements contained in point set topology, and investigates the concrete ways of the integration of point set topology and ideological and political education under the curriculum ideological and political background.
