有关木桶理论的新思考——高校教师在新时代人才培养中的作用

摘要 本文从广为人知的木桶理论出发,切入新的角度,重新思考木桶理论的内涵,引申出一个团体最终所取得的成就由其中最优秀的人才决定的结论,进而说明为优秀人才提供良好的发展空间的重要性。通过类比阐述高校教师在新时代人才培养中的作用,从而提出高校教师的历史使命:培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义事业的合格建设者和接班人。进而从科研成果融入专业课教学、分类分层次教学、定期开展专题讲座、组织多种形式的学科竞赛和教师的自我提高等五个方面提出方法建议,使优秀学生的潜力得到充分发挥,更快地涌现出来。 Starting from the well-known Cannikin Law, we rethink the connotation of the Cannikin Law in this paper by cutting into a new perspective and extend the conclusion that the ultimate achievements of a group are determined by the best talents among them, and further demonstrate the importance of providing good development space for outstanding talents. Moreover, we expound the role of university teachers in the personal education in the new era through analogy. Then we propose the historical mission of university teachers: to cultivate qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. Furthermore, methods and suggestions are proposed from five aspects: integrating scientific research achievements into professional course teaching, classifying and hierarchical teaching, regularly holding special lectures, organizing various forms of subject competitions, and teachers’ self-improvement, in order to fully tap into the potential of excellent students and emerge more quickly.
