With the development of globalization, local folk music is facing multiple challenges, and inheritance education is an important way to protect and develop local folk music. China is a country with a long history and culture. Cultural confidence is an important part of the Chinese national spirit. General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the need to strengthen cultural confidence and promote Chi-nese culture to play a greater role in the process of modernization. At the same time, cultural confidence has become an important part of national governance and modernization. By analyzing the current social development situation and the development situation of local folk music, this paper aims to explore the countermeasures research and development path of local folk music inher-itance education, in order to carry forward the local folk music culture and establish cultural confidence.
