The spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship is the current requirement for cultivating college students. Reforming the teaching of entrepreneurship basic courses in universities under the background of ideological and political education can strengthen the ideals and beliefs of college students, lead the direction of entrepreneurship, improve personal comprehensive literacy, and reform the teaching mode of entrepreneurship courses, emphasizing the cultivation of college students’ ideological values. Medical universities are exploring the integration of entrepreneurship basic courses and ideological and political elements, enhancing teachers’ educational abilities, deeply exploring educational resources, innovating teaching content and methods of entrepre-neurship courses, improving teaching evaluation systems, comprehensively promoting entrepre-neurship basic courses to showcase educational value, and gradually adapting to the trend of ideological and political development in university courses.
