摘要
阅读能力是初中英语教学的重要培养目标之一,阅读理解的分值在各地中考英语试题中均占比最大,试题本身是否具有良好的内容效度将直接影响测试的总体质量。本文以Bachman和Palmer的语言测试任务特征框架为理论依据,以2020~2023年陕西省中考英语阅读理解试题为研究对象,从语篇内容和预期回答两个方面分析其内容效度。研究结果表明,近四年陕西省中考英语阅读理解试题主题丰富、长度适当、易读度高,有较高的内容效度,但仍有可改进之处。研究建议,在命题时,阅读题材可以更贴近学生生活,更具时代性,对技能的考察要更全面;在教学中,教师要引导学生进行深度阅读,增加课外阅读,学习批判性阅读等。
Reading ability is one of the important objectives of English teaching in junior middle school, and the score of reading tests accounts for the largest proportion in Senior High School Entrance Examination. Whether the test questions have good content validity will directly affect the overall quality of the test. Based on Bachman and Palmer’s task-specific framework for language testing, this paper analyzes the reading content validity of comprehension discourses in Shaanxi Senior High School Entrance Examination from 2020 to 2023 from two aspects—Discourse content and expected response. The results show that the tests are rich in topic, appropriate in length, easy to read and have high content validity, but there is still room for improvement. The research suggests that reading topics should be closer to students’ life, more contemporary and more comprehensive in the examination of skills. In teaching, teachers should guide students to read in depth, read independently and critically.
