This paper aims to explore the application of situational teaching method in art appreciation classroom. This paper first introduces the definition and characteristics of situational teaching method, and then analyzes its specific application in art appreciation classroom, including how to create rich situations to promote students’ art appreciation ability. In addition, the paper also discusses the possible problems in the application of situational teaching method, and looks forward to its future development.
