Citizenship education for preschool children has become a hot topic of attention at a critical time when the world is undergoing major developments, changes and adjustments. Canada, as one of the developed countries that has been committed to citizenship education since its early days, has generally incorporated citizenship education into the core scope of preschool education in its provincial curriculum reforms. In this paper, we will explain the concept of civic education for Canadian preschoolers in depth in the context of the new era, and analyze its seven implementation methods in detail, taking British Columbia as an example. Through a systematic study of the concept and implementation methods, this paper aims to provide useful insights into citizenship education for preschool children in China.
