This paper discusses the design and evaluation of virtual simulation technology in neurophysiology teaching methods to enhance students’ learning experience and knowledge mastery. Firstly, the application potential of virtual simulation technology in education is introduced. Secondly, it discusses the design of virtual simulation technology in neurophysiology teaching methods, including virtual experiments, simulation demonstrations, and virtual reality case and situation designs. Then, we delve into the evaluation framework of virtual simulation technology in neurophysiology teaching methods, including student questionnaires, knowledge testing, experimental skill assessment, and learning performance analysis. Finally, the challenges and future development directions of virtual simulation technology in neurophysiology teaching methods are discussed.
