初中英语教材词汇层级设计合理性对比分析——基于人教版与北师大版的实证研究

摘要 教材在英语教学中占有重要地位,而词汇作为语言材料教学的基本单位,其难度设置将直接影响学生的学和教师的教。本研究选取了人教版和北师大版两套具有代表性的初中英语教材,对比分析两套教材词表词汇中二三级基本词汇所占的比例;然后运用统计分析法,对两个版本教材词表词汇中所属二三级词汇的词性、音节构成量进行卡方检测对比分析,归纳分析两套教材在各年级词汇层级安排上存在的差异显著性和合理性;最后通过研究对比发现两套教材词汇层级设计存在的合理性及不足。 The textbooks play an important role in English teaching, and vocabulary, as the basic unit of language material teaching, its difficulty setting will directly affect students’ learning and teachers’ teaching. This study selected two representative junior high school English textbooks, the People’s Education Press and the Beijing Normal University Press, and compared and analyzed the proportion of basic vocabulary in the vocabulary of the second and third levels in the two textbooks;Then, using statistical analysis method, a chi square test was conducted to compare and analyze the part of speech and syllable composition of the second and third level vocabulary in the vocabulary tables of the two versions of the textbook. The significance and rationality of the differences in the arrangement of vocabulary levels in each grade in the two sets of textbooks were summarized and analyzed;Finally, through research and comparison, it was found the rationality and shortcomings in the vocabulary hierarchy design of the two textbooks.
