The document titled “Pilot Regulations on the Construction of the Young Pioneers of China’s Team Rooms (Team Corners) (Trial)” stipulates the establishment of team rooms for primary schools, comprehensive schools, and youth palaces, encourages localities to explore the establishment of open-style team rooms in accordance with practical conditions. The primary responsibility of each Young Pioneers organization is to investigate and adapt to the evolving needs for the development of Young Pioneers members in the new era. As a critical element in the educational process, the Young Pioneers’ moral education space and its educational value have been increasingly gaining the attention of the academic community. Under the Weiyu perspective, the function of the Young Pioneers’ moral education space is to “identify the best location” and “facilitate growth by aligning with inherent nature.” This entails establishing a physical space that can accommodate the activities of Young Pioneers members and creating a central platform for the development of their spiritual and cultural values as well as moral perspectives. The moral education space of the Young Pioneers faces three issues of “Weiyu failure”: a deficiency in local and ethnic culture, too close and monofunctional, and lack of agency among Young Pioneers members. The improvement strategies proposed in this paper include adapting to local conditions, fostering symbiotic construction, and promoting the return of the subjectivity of the members.
