摘要 Preeclampsia is a multisystem disorder that contributes to morbidity and mortality worldwide. Recent studies show that elevated plasma and erythrocytic malondialdehyde (MDA), a marker of lipid peroxidation, has been documented in women with established </span><span>preelampsia.</span><span> This study aimed to observe antioxidant properties of black rice bran on preeclampsia. </span><span>Level</span><span> of MDA </span><span>wa</span><span>s measured with TBARS (</span><i><span>thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances</span></i><span>). Results showed that black rice bran has antioxidant properties by significantly decreasing MDA in preeclampsia-induced HUVEC. This makes black rice bran a promising agent </span><span>which can</span><span> be further used in preeclampsia treatment.
